It’s everyone’s favorite time of the year! No silly, not Christmas… The Victoria Secret Fashion Show. Airing Tuesday, November 30 on CBS, the fashion show is equipped with beautiful models, outlandish outfits, and the musical stylings of Katy Perry and Akon. Sounds perfect!
Be prepared to see: insane angel wings. Todd Thomas, lead designer for the VS runway show, stated to Harper’s Bazarr, “We really went all the way this year with the wings—with scale, with concept, and with the amount of them.” Yes, the wings are so massive that they have a room of their own.
You should expect: glimmer, shimmer and shine. It’s rumored that the accessories in this years’ show are extremely intricate, as every bead, sequin, or crystal has been hand sewn. Every girl loves sparkly things right? And I’m pretty sure in this case, men do too.
Oh, and don’t forget about: the million-dollar bra. Which this year is actually the two million dollar bra, worn by Adriana Lima. Completed in just one thousand man-hours, the bra is made of three thousand white diamonds, sapphires and topaz.
