Christen of Two Happy Hearts is spring-ready in soft pastels and our Minnie Laser Cut Envelope Bag. After styling our popular crossbody, she sat down to answer a few questions:

Describe how you styled our bag with your look:

I knew I wanted to pair this classic bag with an equally classic (and classy!) look. So I chose one of my favorite dresses, paired with my all-time favorite coat. The dress reminds me of a 1950s diner waitress uniform — it doesn’t get much more classic than that, does it?!

Describe your personal style:

I am heavily inspired by 1950s and 1960s style. I just love the timeless, ultra-feminine quality of those eras.

Who are your style icons?

Lately I’ve been watching a lot of Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn movies. It’s hard not to be inspired by those beauties!

If you could only wear one color for the rest of your life, what would you choose?

Oh gosh. That’s a tough one. I love color! I think I’d probably choose coral. That color just makes me happy on gloomy days!

If there was one song that was your life theme song, what would it be?

La Vie en Rose by Edith Piaf. It’s basically the French way of saying “life through rose colored glasses.” It’s such a sweet sentiment, and it makes my husband and I super sappy and sentimental. It’s kind of our song

If you had to choose one accessory to take with you on a deserted island, what would it be?

My cell phone so I could keep in touch with people, take tons of photos and share via social media! Good ol’ social media has changed our lives.

What’s your favorite dessert?

Pretty much anything that has chocolate and/or strawberries. I also love baking cookies! My favorite recipe is oatmeal with white chocolate chips and dried cranberries. Delish!
