DIY: Glitter Clothespin Magnets

Hey guys and gals, it’s Sarah here with another fun DIY project! I found this cute idea on Pinterest and wanted to share these crafty results with you. Not only was it SO quick and easy, I was thrilled with how they turned out!

Finished Product:

Supplies:

  • Glitter
  • Clothes Pins
  • Magnet Adhesive
  • Cookie Pan (not a cookie sheet, if you want it to hang on the wall)
  • Modge Podge
  • Paint Brush
  • Paper Cups

glitter magnets

Step 1:

  • Cut magnet strip to size of clothes pin and peel away backing to attach to the pin.

Step 2:

  • Paint the top with Modge Podge, there should be enough to let the glitter adhere to the pin

Step 3:

  • Sprinkle glitter over the glue and set aside to let it dry completely

And Ta-daa! Once you hang your cookie pan on the wall you have a gorgeous and fun way to store reminders, notes and other goodies! I’m going to get a second pan to hang next to it so I have some more space, but I was thrilled with how they turned out! This is also a far cheaper solution to buying other office supplies!

I wish I kept the package :-/ because I’m not sure of the brand, but I found it at Wal-mart in the crafting section. They have really pretty purple colors!

What a cute, simple idea! I’m going to try this with my preschool-age daughters, they’ll love it.
